About dealing for Abraham...

Does anyone think that the Jet's Abraham would make a great OLB
and, if so, would he be worth trading the Cowboys 18th pick for?

The Jets have already said they would take Atlanta's 15th pick and nothing
else in exchange for him. Atlanta has balked at this and turned down the deal.

Since the Cowboys are rumored to be interested in Petersen, perhaps dealing
for Abraham would be a better idea?

If LB is indeed the way we are going in the draft with that first pick, then yea, I'd be all for a trade like this. But not if our intention is to take an OLinemen with that first pick.

Abraham will either be a Falcon or a Seahawk. I don't see him going to Dallas at all. I would rather have Peterson anyway.

How old is Abraham? If he is 27 years old then I would send our 2nd round pick and Greg Ellis to New York for him. IF he is already 29 years old, then no way!

If we gave up our number 1 pick for Abraham and weren't switching back to the 4-3, I'd have a heart attack.

I know why we're in the 3-4...Parcells.

But I can't help but wonder how good our old 4-3 would be with guys like Glover, Ferguson, Canty, Spears, Ellis, and Ware, not to mention a guy like Abraham. We'd have Brady, Adele, Burnett, etc at LB and just be looking for a stud MLB.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
only trade I'd consider is Ellis and a 5th or 6th for Abraham.
Of course, then it becomes a trade off, you can't stockpile troublemakers and malcontents no matter how talented and expect the team to be happy and healthy and successful.

Even forgetting the trade part, Abraham wants a truckload of cash!

why would you want to give up a first round pick for a de when we have plenty of de's, and when you can draft a guy for a 5th of the money he will want, not to mention the guy plays with no heart. no thanks
