Giants are 7-1 at home. Giants are 1-3 on the road. The one road win came against the 49ers who are fighting for the first pick in the draft. 3 of the Giants last 4 games are on the road.

That's all I have to say ...

Who cares? Really-we make the playoffs, it's not like Drew and our OL will miraculously play better.

The Gints are probably regretting signing Feely anyways-and that's too bad 'cuz their O and D are as complete as you can get.

We have to take care or business for that to matter though.

Maybe I haev too much confidence, but Im chalking up STL, Washington as wins.

We HAVE to split Carolina/KC

Thatll leave us at 10-6
Giants would have to lose 2. Theyre beating Skisn and Philly. probably losing to KC. Then they have Oakland week 17. Thats a long shot

Good news is the top of the NFC south all play each other for wild card purposes

Boy's schedule
KC
@ Skins
@ Carollina
Rams

[/U]G-men's schedule
at Philly
Chiefs
@Skins
@Raiders

I'm hoping we can go 2-2.. I like our chances better against the Rams and Skins..

Unfortunately even on the road the Giants are likely to go 3-1.. Even if they go 2-2 that gives them the East..

If we both finish with the same record, who would get the tiebreaker?

My post had nothing to do with the Cowboys or how they can overtake the Giants. It just seems that every article I have read, every sports show I watch on TV, every sports radio station, etc. are so high on the Giants bandwagon that I felt the need to vent.

After the Iggles stole on in KC(and started 3-1), everyone was so high on them. Then for a month, everyone was so high on Dallas. For a couple of weeks, the Skins got the media darlings treatment. Now the Gints are getting the same.

Frankly-b/w Lindsey Lohan over the last several months and the NFC East, I can't figure out which one is getting OVER-hyped the most.

Funny Seattle was owned by us, SD owned us early, and you beat us because 3 redzone turnovers. Just a Coin Flip away.

Eli actually plays better on the road, we just had some bad breaks. Hopefully they will start coming our way. Feel free to research it.

What ultimately matters is W's and L's.

The point the above poster was making is that Terry was trying to rationalize how the Giants actually had 2 wins(instead of somehow those 2 make believe losses), when in fact-the Cowboys had a couple of games they OWNED, but somehow slipped away.

You are correct-good/bad ref calls, good/bad breaks, etc all even out when everything is said and done. You should have beated us in Texas Stadium, but we should have beaten you guys in the Meadowlands the other day.

Frankly-that game we gave away to the Skins on a silver platter-would trade away ANY day with that game in San Diego we STOLE 'cuz the Skins are in our div and SD isn't even in our conference.

That "away" game vs. the Saints will be the deciding advantage when all is said and done I fear...

Didn't you lose that game?

Good team .. not surprising.

Every team has these game stories .. you are what you are .. 1-3 on the road.

Eli actually plays better on the road, we just had some bad breaks. Hopefully they will start coming our way. Feel free to research it.
That's not saying much .. he's not having a great season by any means, at home or on the road. Your defense plays better at home which is the reason you're winning games at home. And before you say anything, I'm a big Eli fan from his college days. Right now, he's not his brother yet and people need to remember that.

The Giants may not be a great road team, however most teams arent.

They split and they are fine.

How do you "Split" 3 games? I assume you mean "Split in half". And if you're referring to splitting on the road for the year, still can't do it (7 games).

That said, yes they do have 3 road games to do, but they aren't exactly against tough opponents.

Funny thing about that is....I made HUGE deal about that right when it happened and it essentially fell on deaf ears.. Guess it was too early in the season to care.

It wasn't fair then and it isn't fair now - stupid move by the league, stupid and unfair.
