About to invest in some jerseys.

I'd like to buy a few new jerseys. I currently have a quickly wearing out Thanksgiving day Romo, along with about a half-dozen players that no longer play here, or anywhere.

Most store and sites seem to have this core group of players:

Austin
Bryant
Carr
Claiborne
Lee
Murray
Romo
Ware
Witten

Folks wanna rank these guys in terms of who stays on the team longest? I really don't want another Christmas 2008 Owens situation, where I literally get no wear out of it.

I'm thinking it goes like this:

Bryant
Lee
Romo
Witten
Ware
Murray
Carr
Austin
Claiborne

Thoughts? Thinking of picking up a few. Might just grab Thanksgiving day unis for each.

Lee is probably slightly safer than Dez, but other than that your order looks good. Witten could also maybe be flipped with Romo.

Lee is the best choice. He just signed a long term deal and is very respected around the league. He isn't going anywhere anytime soon and fans of other teams actually like him. Bryant hasn't signed a deal yet and still could screw up at any time. He is way more risky than Lee. Romo, Ware, Witten, and Austin are older and to many fans have those. Carr isn't homegrown and seems to me to be a boring jersey to have. Claiborne still has to much chance to be an underachiever or bust.

Dez is probably the safest bet with Lee and then Romo and Witten following. Ware, IMO, is anyone's guess.

That's a good point about Carr. I really only want Cowboys that started here. I think Lee and Bryant are the safest. Romo will be around for years to come. So will Witten. Ware has at least a few years left and I really don't see him leaving. I have a soft spot for Austin, but my brain tells me he might be playing elsewhere next year if Williams catches on. Running backs are great then are terrible, so Murray is a risk. And Claiborne, is.... Hell, I don't know what he is.

Webb seems cool too. B Carr might be the way I'd go though.

Carter is on my radar, although I'm not sure they offer it in the Limited or Elite.

Buy Ware or Witten. They will with the Cowboys a long time after they quit playing because they will be in the ring of honor and the hall of fame.

Lee / Bryant will be around for a long time and will be core players.

Romo, Witten, and Ware will be elite for at least a few more years and will go down as Cowboy greats.

I'm having the same dilemma, leaning towards Lee or Ware.

I dont trust anyone in the current NFL. The last thing you want is to be stuck holding a McNabb or Farve type jersey when they go play for your division rivals.

I have a Lee, Ware, Romo, Dez, Austin, Claiborne and Witten, if I was to get a new one it wood be Church or Carter, I think a Wilcox would be cool too.

I just picked up an elite sean lee white jersey. He's the safest in my mind. If anyone knows where I can get a Bruce carter. Let me know !!! Lol
