Here is how I would construct the roster if it were up to me.
Offense
QB: Romo, Orton
RB: Murray, Felix, Tanner, Dunbar*
FB: Vickers
TE: Witten, Phillips, Hanna
WR: Miles, Dez, Ogle, Harris, Beasley, Holmes
OL: Smith, Livings, Costa, Bernadeau, Free, Parnell, Cook, Arkin
Total: 24
Defense
CB: Carr, Claiborne, Jenkins, Scandrick, Butler
S: Sense, Church, McCray, Silva
LB: Ware, Spence, Lee, Carter, Connor, Butler, Wilber, Alright, Lemon*, Hamilton*
DL: Rat, Hatcher, Spears, Lissemore, Brent, Crawford, Baas*
Total: 25
Special teams
Bailey, Jones, L.P
Ideal Practice squad
Coale, Olawale, Szczerba, Callaway, Carpenter, Johnson
Lemon*: He was one of my bubble players. He has stuck out in games and plays good on special teams. Plus he has showed some coverage ability along with his physical style of play.
Dunbar*: He was difficult to justify keeping on the team. However, he showed that he can make plays with his quickness. He just might be our backup punt returner as well. He offers some special teams ability and I like what I saw of him at tailback. It came down to him or Olawale when I composed this roster. I just believe he can offer more ST wise.
Baas*: This is my Geathers like guy of this season. I'm not sure he would clear waivers. He is a high motor guy that just seems to make plays. I ended up picking him over Coale, tough decision. He is the 52nd guy on the roster.
Hamilton*: You can never have too many pass rushers. We all know that this kid has some ability to rush the passer. These kind of guys don't make it through waivers. Someone would find a spot on their roster for him. So in my book he sticks around and we try to round out his game. He is the last guy on the roster and my developmental guy.
