FOX Sports' Adam Caplan suggests free agent S Abram Elam as a possible offseason target for the Cowboys.
Elam played for new Dallas DC Rob Ryan last year. The Cowboys may have to overhaul the safety position with Gerald Sensabaugh also a free agent and Alan Ball having not panned out. Elam has experience at both strong and free safe

I like Elam as safety depth over Barry Church and McCray, but I wouldn't be too comfortable as one of our starters.

I'm at the point I just want Jerry to sign someone, anyone so that we don't have one of these threads everytime a safety is released.

I know Ball was bad but Dallas has to have some standards.

Not that im taking offense for posting it BUT i did mostly because the story does mention us in it even if it is most likely the writer throwing darts

I fully understand why you posted it, it was not a shot at you as much as it is for the association with the Cowboys via the media or the fans after any safety is released.
