Furthermore, we were penalized five yards the entire game. Can't possibly blame the refs for this one.

And Ertz was held by a LB (probably Carter) on the 3rd down play where we sacked Foles after McCoy fell down getting out of the backfield.

Mine doubles yours and the point still remains. As bad as the officiating has been this year and as bad as that non call was it had nothing to do with us losing this game or losing 8 games a season for three years.

I thought that crew was one of the best that we've seen this year.

The on field refs have not ability to know what happened with the clock. It does seem that the video review refs upstairs should have been able to do something about the issue.

The clock issue didn't end up having a big effect on the game. The Cowboys did burn an extra timeout, but they scored a TD.

That's on the Dallas Cowboys. They man the clocks. Someone should have caught that. The refs are caught up in the game. They look at the clock and reacting accordingly. I can't fault them. The Cowboys and their staff and employees dropped the ball. Typical.

Seriously... the Eagles got penalized multiple times. I saw Riley get held like crazy on the one roll out that Chris Collinworth was like, the Cowboys just took McCow out of the play. Riley was livid that they didn't get tha call.

The officiating crew was good. We lost the game because the two guys who really needed to step up in Romo's absence and elevate their games -- Murray and Witten-- both caused turnovers.

Throw in the fact that we failed to score a TD when we got a gift fumble at the Philly 20 yard line-- and we're lucky to have only lost by 2 points. Orton's pick was just the nail in the coffin. The lack of fundamental execution put us behind the 8 ball the entire game.

Same critical mistakes in the same crucial moments in big games. To blame the officials at all is to miss the point entirely.
