According to Broaddus the only rookie practicing with the first team is Spann-Ford

Micah should have shown up if he was serious about becoming a leader and get started on learning a whole new defense from his new D-Coordinator. Micah absolutely proved he's not ready to become a leader.
They haven’t given him a contract yet. He’s not showing up to anything he doesn’t have to before that. They could make him play it out, use the 5th year option next year then tag him the year after that. So is he supposed to go 3 more years without a contract and without getting injured. This is basically a contract year for him.

You have to read something into it. They have Deuce with the WR’s which means they’re not looking to give him much opportunity running the ball.
I would think 'much opportunity' is a relative expectation given the prospect of the offensive scheme involving running back by committee. Offseason work provides the coaching staff chances to experiment and gain greater insight for planning multiple regular season strategies. Too much should not be read into everything revealed publicly before the games count in my opinion.

Micah is proving he's not a true leader and a liar. Dak has shown up all the time over the years even when he was on his rookie contract and twice franchise tagged. Micah is proving he's all about the money even though he is still under contract for 2 years.

They are doing installs right now. It is important that the install demonstration is done correctly. It is the foundation that they will build around for the season.

It should not be hard to imagine how having 2 rookie OL, who are learning on the fly, running the installs might create some issues.

generally speaking they are demonstrating through padless individual and team drills, the techniques and plays they will be using throughout the season. It is halfspeed and MM breaks it down into sections like third down, goal line, 2 minute, etc that they work through until they get to the the break.

True but if you knew anything about the guy going back to his PSU days you'd know this is no surprise. He's a jackass. Talented as hell, but most assuredly a jackass that cares mostly only about himself. (and twitter)

Who knows. He must be looking better if he’s playing ahead of him. Either they’re bringing Guyton along slowly or he’s not looking good. He was looked at by many as a project. Some weren’t thrilled with the pick, Hopefully he won’t end up up the offensive version of Mazi.
How can you make any judgement without pads. OTAs are basically a demonstration period. The players are going half speed with no contact. You are declaring Guyton a bust….. :huh:
