I respect your opinion, but I don't think it's about the work he's putting in. I think his body just can't handle it anymore.IMHO his heart went out of it the day he signed his big deal. He got paid and packed it in and has been on a severe downward spiral ever since. If his heart was still in it he would still be in shape and would be an effective NFL player.
He was 21 during the 2016 season. Those first few seasons he was so young, he was able to bounce back from punishment quickly. But he's 27 now with 1880 carries. And let's not forget how much contact he takes/intiates in pass pro.
RBs just tend to hit a wall around the 6 season or 1800 carry mark and he's just beyond both of those now.
I could go back to just last season to see a focused, energized Zeke. Zeke looked great until he suffered that knee injury against Carolina. I don't think anything has changed except for what he is truly capable of.
