Omar is a funny cat on twitter during football season. He might as well be a poster in the game threads.

He's hoping for an 8-8 season, so he said . . . . ouch!

i like him as well but i would rip those two shmucks apart.....
they have no idea what they are talking about ...how do they even have jobs?

very disappointed in Epps...

we have vastly improved and will turn a lot of heads this year....

Eh Epps wasn't off base at all until he said MAYBE 8-8.....I think he's off base but I don't think it's a major stretch anyway.

I can give Epps a pass for not knowing how banged up the Giants are at key positions and how good Bernadeau and Livings looked in comparison to Kosier, but Smith and Bayless are kinda clueless in this segment.

Just like every segment. :laugh2:

Skip is gonna flip his opinion 180 degrees on Thursday. Even if we lose I believe it is gonna be a close game. Murray is gonna run strong and Carr is gonna show how much of the real deal he really is. Those will be his main points for why he switched his opinion.

This is a different team. If he thinks 8-8, if there lucky.......then he doesn't follow this team that close, plenty of upgrades over last year.

Wow...there's so much misinformation in that conversation it's unbelievable...but then it's First Take...so there you go...

8-8 is a very fair prediction. We are riddled with recent injuries, have a completely new/mixed up oline and the hardest schedule in the league.

oh great another "realist".......how come every time someone refers to themselves as a realist , they follow up by spewing ignorance?

That's my Boi! I didn't know he was a Boys fan. Thanks for sharing.

"Jerry Jones is a heckuva owner but he doesn't know how to run a football team".... FRAME THAT! Well stated Omar.

Umm no we don't. You also forgot to mention that the Cowboys have a vastly upgraded roster compared to last season.

Yes, we do have one of the hardest schedules in the league. And we have no clue how "vastly" the roster has been upgraded.

Actually we do. If you watched Houston or Kansas City last season you'd know Carr and Vick are terrific players. Then obviously Claibourne was a shut down corner at LSU. It may time him awhile, but eventually he'll be a stud in the NFL.
