not a good move by Gase. I think Stephen Ross *may* be one of the worsts owners in pro football and they have a lot of money tied into Ryan Tannehill.

Gase did a pretty good reclamation job with Cutler. I would imagine he'd have a pretty positive influence of Tannehill as well. As for the rest of your post, I agree 100%.

He has basically the same coaching record as Jason Garrett.

He has basically the same coaching record as Jason Garrett.

He has over 10 years coaching over various different positions.. Nothing alike...

Garrett basically was QB coach for Harrington and Frerotte, veterans who were at the tail end of their careers for '2 seasons' and showed nothing like Gase did for guys like Cutler and even Tebow.

He has basically the same coaching record as Jason Garrett.

But he has a good record of working with QBs, which was my point. He worked with a HOF QB (which isn't easy to do for a coach sometimes) and he basically brought Cutler back from the dead. I'm not saying he's going to be a smash success just that getting the most out of the QB position is paramount to turning any franchise around.
