Just noticed that New England scored a TD and Doug Flutie (yes that Doug Flutie) kicked the extra point. Does anybody get that game or know why Adam Vinatieri wasn't in there? Vinatieri possibly injured? I have never heard of resting a kicker before.

Offensive line was lined up like a FG, with a WR split. Flutie was lone guy back.

Flutie took the snap, dropped it, and kicked the extra point. (drop kick)

It always had to touch the ground first but I was sure it was illegal now. Guess not.
