Wouldn't mind seeing Sam Adams fat butt in our D-line rotation for a couple years. Also, could Jeff Hartings from Pittsburg solve our center issues, or is he going to cost too much? The next day or two should be interesting.

IMO we need younger players to go with our older ones......and depth!

I agree, but since this league seems to look no more than 2-3 years into the future I would take them for the 2 year plan. I do agree in the positions like WR, QB, CB, RB etc it is important to have long term youth, but I guess I am just thinking a killer rotation with our D-line, and fixing our center problem. I wasn't sure how old Hartings was?

I say sign them to a little over the vet minimum, we have enough youth on the Dline and Hartings isn' that old

I think Hartings has slipped a little but Pittsburgh doesn't have anyone else to play; their aren't wild about his backup & he may not stay with Steelers either.

I'm sure Jones & Parcells have prepared for this for some time. I had impression some weeks ago that we'd add several FA playes to the team but weren't going to go wild & sign the FA who would demand big bucks. I still think we will add 1-3 players in FA,incluidng PK and will look for bargains at other needed positions. I'd love to see us draft a WR (Jackson would be my choice) but think OL or OLB better bet in first round.
