Curious to see what people think. Take two from Washington and two from Philly that vault us into contender status. I will take age into consideration.
My choices from Washington would be Jayden Daniels and Terry McLaurin. This is simple. A Daniels/Cee Dee/Scary Terry offense is putting up points. No need to overthink this one. I'd like to hear other options on this.
The choices from Philly depend on how you want to approach the draft, and where you believe Tyler Smith should play. Do you want defense, offense, or a little of both?
Choice #1: If Tyler Smith stays at LG, then Jordan Mailata and Jalen Carter. A left side of Smith/Mailata is a massive upgrade to the line. Jalen Carter fills a massive hole on the D-line. I think Carter was the most doubled teamed d-linemen in the league this season. Micah is now in football heaven. Draft o-line and d-line with first two picks. Sign the best FA running back out there. Guyton goes to RT.
Choice #2: If you believe Tyler belongs at LT, then take Landon Dickerson and Jalen Carter. Smith/Dickerson is a beasty left side too. Still draft o-line, d-line, and sign top running back.
Choice #3: Mailata and Jurgens. While Beebe looks like a real prospect, Jurgens really does look like Kelce 2.0 in the making. Mailata/Smith/Jurgens gives us a top ten line by themselves. Put two of the first three draft picks into d-line. Sign best FA running back.
Choice #4: Mailata and Lane Johnson. While age is a factor, Johnson is still playing at a very high level. Let Guyton learn behind one of the best tackles of the past 15 years. Draft d-line with two of the first three picks. Sign best FA running back.
Choice #5: Carter and Baun. Since being moved inside, Baun has simply been a raging tacking machine. Carter and Micah can be unleashed with Baun behind them. Overshown and Baun would be one hell of a LB duo. Draft o-line with two of the first three picks.
I would probably take Daniels, McLaurin, Mailata, and Carter.
