just got off the phone with the doberman agency and they were fine. i'm approved and will go look at dogs sunday. they are careful about the dog to be sure, as they should be. but they don't invade my private life and demand background check type info.

so i'll go look. what can happen?

Yea. You can judge me so well. A lady who has 2 akitas I just found out refused to go through the rescue also because of the app. Said it turns a LOT of people away.but hey, get your shot in.

do you plan to move soon? if so, where? { No

I don't see anything so invasive about those questions nor any reason to lie. I posted honest answers for all to see. Fill it out and if your answers aren't good enough for them so be it.

And have you actually bothered to visit these places or are you just doing this all by computer?

i'd never consider hurting an animal and i'm doing my homework all around to ensure i get a breed that fits my own temperament so we'll get along well.

I have to ask, have you ever owned a dog before?

I don't know man. You got pretty angry about five posts ago. I don't think you're being honest with yourself. Just leave those dogs alone and get a gold fish. But if you're not around to feed those slimey *******s, then I swear....

that would be up for me to determine and how to properly care for the animal when i'm not around or gone for long periods of time. but if they start off not trusting i've done my homework then i see no reason to tell an org i don't know, or how well they protect their records, when no one is home.

i don't go on facebook and tell everyone i'm on vacation for 2 weeks with no one home, i won't tell people i don't know that either.

You're blowing it way out of proportion. JMO

But that's ok, just don't get the dog. That simple. It's suffering will be over eventually anyway, right?
