Back in one game? are they kidding? these guys aren't going anywhere...howbout just sitting him out till he's 100%. Peterson's a great "rookie" running back but I think he runs square up too much which is why he got rocked in the knees on that one play, hes lucky he didn't get both knees injured, that's why Barber's so good he runs laterally with a twist to him, avoiding injuries like this, shame for the vikings, but I think it's a lesson learned for Peterson, this isn't College ball son this is the NFL, run with reckless abandon ala BO you will pay dearly

The vikings would be stupid to run him, but the reason why they might play him has more to do with greed than anything else. They probably haven't had as many fans interested in Viking football as they have over the last couple of weeks. No one is going to pay to see Chester Taylor run and their QB NOT throw the ball.

They should shut him down for the year and enjoy another high pick in next years draft. They grab a QB to play with Peterson and they might have something.
