Now is when this whole thing turns even uglier. The Vikings adamantly held onto Peterson when they could have moved him - and that ridiculous contract - and gotten quality draft equity in the process. Now, they're looking at cutting him for nothing in return. On top of having traded away this year's 1st round pick for Sam Bradford and his overpaying deal, only to miss the playoffs anyway.
