AFC Championship: Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs

Allen has never won a road playoff game. Even Dak has done that ;)

The Chiefs defense is top shelf I realize that and McDermott is not a big game coach but I was disappointed in the OC Brady . The constant reliance on the “ tush push “ that wasn’t working and the overall abandonment of Cook and the running game .

To go next level ( SB ) I suggest they draft the best WR available when they pick round one .

On the 4th down play when the Bills TE Kincaid dropped the ball, the refs threw a flag and then picked up. If that would have been a completion bythe Bills the flag would have erased it, instead it was a turnover on downs.
There was no flag thrown.

Chiefs would have zero super balls if they didn't draft mahomes. And they have a chance to do something even the great Dallas teams couldn't do, and win 3 straight superbowls.

I hear you. I hate to have to pull for the Eagles.
I mean it’s tough to say otherwise. Reid is a great coach. He had Alex Smith playing great too.

Alex Smith never won a Super Bowl, though. Yes Andy Reid is a nice coach. He wasn't a good talent evaluator. He wasn't even that good of a offensive coordinator. He was in Philadelphia for 14 years. He could make the playoffs. He was good at winning the division. He usually lost in the championship game, or before. I think he went to one Super Bowl in 14 years with an owner that gave him everything he wanted and still lost. He got Kansas City going again, but not a Super Bowl caliber team. It wasn't till they drafted their current QB before Kansas City started winning in the playoffs, and Super Bowl's. He comes from the same tree as Mike McCarthy. I'm sure if you gave McCarthy the same QB he would have a Super Bowl as well.

Remember last year when the Eagles played Buffalo? Buffalo ran up a big lead and it really looked like it was over, but the Eagles scratched their way back but it took every ounce of energy out of Philadelphia to win that game in overtime. Buffalo was the more physical team. Philadelphia lost every game after that. I think it was 7 straight? Any first-round playoff exit. Earlier that year they played Kansas City and beat them. They didn't strike me as a physical team. Allen has a Canon for an arm. It makes it hard to pick him off if you're not used to it. He can squeeze passes in tight windows. He runs, and he's physical. He's not as clutch as Mahomes but I think the Eagles fear Allen more. I might have the year wrong on Kansas City I don't remember if they played them last year, or the year before. That's my take. Maybe there's some Eagle fans out there that have a different opinion. I'd like to hear it.

This American is rooting for KC Chiefs, never ever for the philthy eagles, and that's not from a gray area, it's from Texas! ;)

I hope the Mahomes rule is in effect in the SB and you cannot hit him forcefully . Only team to win three of these in a row . Taylor will be gushing

I hope the Eagles win. I hate everything about Darlene-from-Roseanne Mahomes. The game doesn't even need to be played, though. We all know the refs will make sure the Chiefs win.
If I was as sold out on that bologna as you, I wouldn't watch. At all.

Is it? Didn’t they tie the game with 13 seconds left? We are witnessing greatness. No gimmicks or trick plays. Just great football from a great team.
Are you talking about the playoff game a few years ago? The Bills coach lost that game. When the Bills kicked off, they kicked it through the endzone. Had they not done that, the Chiefs don't have 13 seconds. The Chiefs can't run two plays and call two timeouts. The Chiefs lose.

This guy does a pretty convincing job of making the case that the Bills got a first down twice.

With 1:56 showing on the clock, the screen showed a flag, and the play by play guy said there was a flag. The ref then said, no flag.
The ref didn't say no flag. Nantz said there was a flag because someone told him there was. Romo said he didn't see one. They then corrected themselves. Just some CBS idiot screw up.

No. You missed the facts. Flamma has it right.

What did I miss?

Which ref threw a flag?
What part of the field was it on?
Where is there an image or video of the flag?
When did the REF say no flag?

Where is there evidence of any of that?

would not it have just gone to overtime?

No. Buffalo was up by 3 with 13 seconds left. At kickoff, Buffalo kicked it through the endzone giving the Chiefs the ball at the 30 yard line with 13 seconds and 2 timeouts. Kicking it in the field of play and having a return wastes about 5 seconds off the clock. KC then gets 1 play and a hail Mary. But instead, KC got two plays, 2 timeouts, and kicked a game tying FG. That's on the Bills head coach.
