If my math is correct, after yesterday, the NFC leads inter-conference play with 19 wins and 18 losses.

I agree overall they are about equal but just as it was in the 90's where Dallas,SF and GB were the power houses I would say right now that the Pats and Colts have an edge over the rest.

The AFC is about 5 teams deep and the NFC is about 4 teams deep

But slowly but surely the NFC is closing the gap whether the media wants to acknowledge it or not.

I agree. I still give the edge to the AFC right now but I see it starting to change.

Once you get past the big two...the NFC is far more deeper. I think the Boys, Packers, Giants, Lions and Saints are all better than the Steelers contrary to popular belief and if the Vikings ever found a QB they could become a contender right quick.
