Ok, I posted some negative stuff last night ill admit but after calming down I think there are major positives to take from this game.

1. Hats off to Eli. He played an awesome game and made a ton of difficult throws. IMO, he can not play any better than he did tonight.

2. We can stop the run if we want to.

3. We win the game easy if we don't turn the ball over. If we turn the ball over just twice for example we win that game 31-20.

4. The Giants are the best team in the NFC right now. We're right there.

5. I never seen Newman play that poorly. I can only think he will be better.

6. Turnovers, eventually a bounce has to go our way.

7. We beat Philly last year in the same type of game and they turned it around.

Actually New Orleans is the best team in the NFC right now.

He played much worse last year against the Skins at home. I think T New played ok yesterday. That tackle against Jacobs and some decent coverage which isn't saying much with the rest of our db play. That PI penalty was a joke IMO.

Right, because there's such a clear cut 'best team in the NFC' after week two.

I had bad feeling after the 2nd int when the ball bounced off Witten heal that we would not be getting many breaks or balls bouncing our way. It was the Giants night be in the Mario Manningham TD catch were he is bobbling it and it lands right back to him or a tip pass on the giants last drive that went directly to the WR.

It appeared to me that Newman was trying to put his shoulder on the ball vs Jacobs instead of cutting him low.

Not to diss on T-New because I sure wouldn't want to hit Jacobs, but T-New caught a big break when Jacobs tried to cut back the instant T-New went to hit him. Most of Jacob's momentum was stopped at that point.

It's ok to freak out.. I did. it's called passion... some of us post angry :)

Dallas did a good job of beating itself. The Witten Heel INT is as fluke as Stokley's catch last week. Might go the rest of our lives w/o seeing some crazy stuff like that.

This team hasn't arrived, these guys still have to work. But 251yds rushing, holding Jacobs/Bradshaw to 95yds was impressive. Take away their 2 long runs (31/19) and we're talking about 23 carries for 49yds. Take away Barber/Jones' 2 longest runs (35/56) and Dallas still picked up 129yds on 23 carries...that's a darn nice average.

EP, I think your quote sums it up "Dallas did a good job of beating itself."

That was about as blatant PI as I've ever seen.
Yeah, I don't get why that was a bad call at all. He turned right into the WRs path.
