the Cowboys still can not get the ball to its WRs in regular flow of the offense or traditional route combos.

Ppl ask why... is it Romos arm strength or the WRs route discipline? I guess we can blame the oline at times but in the NFL the QB has to take some blame for his oline and that is why Romo wants to mimic Tom Bradys foot work.

Noone will mess with Romos mechanics to get zip on the ball so the WRs will need to step up if this team is really going to win on the road in the playoffs. 1 of Romos weakness is hidden by his number 1 strength as a QB so if the WRs want the ball in traditional O they need to run crisp patterns and fight for ball.

Until this offense is able to complete passes outside the numbers on a regular basis they will be hard pressed to reach their full potential.

The Giants have given up 195 yards per game passing and their opponents have a 75 QB rating.

Tony put up 244 (while shutting it down in the 4th quarter to put away the game) and a 113 QB rating. And that was with 9 different players having receptions.

What are you complaining about again?

We have played teams with tough defenses lately. Romo and the O has done better than most.

How much of that was YAC?

Do you think that maybe, just maybe, defenses are overcompensating in defending Dallas's wide receivers? Do you think there might be a reason why Tashard Choice has been the Cowboys leading receiver in the past two games?

Its the depth of the routes and the time it takes to run them vrs. having Proctor in the Line and the Blitz Pacs teams are running with pressure getting to Romo.

..and yes is a big reason why Choice is leading recvr, the LB'rs are getting deep drops to take away TE's. and help on WR's

Never See Quick slants or drag/crossing patterns by TO or Roy...especially off of a little rub & clear patterns by a 2nd wr on same side...the little tricks other teams seem to run with good timing that gets the ball to wr's in stride

While the numbers are there we are not getting the ball to our WRs very well. With the rush Tony had I can understand it some. But they do need to find a way to get Roy and TO the ball more. We don't need to spit and sputter on offense even with great defenses. Not as badly as we have been.

Why don't we see some slants esp off hot reads? OTOH, they are getting the ball out there to move it enough to win with this defense. I'd prefer to score at least 25 a game though.
