Depends on the level of optimism your talking about. Are you talking about above .500, winning the super bowl, or one of the many points in between?

The wording of the question suggests that both causes result in the effect.

Voted no.

Schotty's won me over.

Free agency has told me not to judge Schotty on his first year's results.

If you are waiting for the draft, then the awnser is already no. If you are counting in rookies to field a good football team, then you dont have a good football team
Right, this isn't the 1976 Cowboys, a playoff team that just needed that extra that Dorsett could, and did, provide. This team is far from being a legitimate SB contender.

And that's what I follow teams for, to see them win it all. Not that I don't enjoy wins, however they come about, or that I'm not glad I don't have to watch a team that loses every game, or 80-90% of them. But like they say in racing, there's only two positions - first, and everybody else....

No.

Hope, at least for me, depends on something other than blind faith. Like the late 60's Cowboys, I had hope they'd win a championship, because they were a really good team with a really good coach and had gotten close to winning a championship. I could base my hope on that. Even when the late 80's teams weren't good at all, they had Landry, without question a great coach, if nothing else that could, and was, a basis for hope.

But this team/owner?

Not a bit of hope. Zilch, zip, nada, zero.

No. Think once Schotty has headphones on for first time as HC he wets the bed. Easy to talk a lot but different once you’re out there. And btw I dint mind his attitude or what they are trying to emulate. Just don’t see it. Hope I’m wrong

I wonder what Rambo will vote?

Tough one, possibly a "no" as he can be a pessimistic wee chap from time to time.

Sorry, typo from me there........45 - 0 season penciled in by Rambo surely........with Dak breaking the season TD record, Micah gets the sack record and for a bonus point, Daks new swimming pool at the new mansion breaks records for "pool of the year"......and least if does in the regular season, cracks form and it leaks come playoff time.

Heck, I'm afraid they won't even compete for a playoff wildcard spot.

Of course i am!

I am a loyal solider ready to get shot down without questioning anything.

Just give me that Rah Rah phrase from my HC and ill go. Believing everything.

GO JONESES!!!
