Here are the stats from Day 2:
Taken by position (total=day1+day2)
Offense: (57=14+43)
OC: (3=0+3); OG: (8=1+7), OT: (11=4+7); QB: (5=3+2); RB: (8=0+8); TE: (7=1+6); WR: (15=5+10)
Defense: (43=18+25)
CB: (9=5+4); DE: (10=3+7); DT: (9=2+7); FS: (3=2+1); ILB: (3=1+2); OLB: (6=3+3); SS: (3=2+1)
Conference updates (total=day1+day2)
AAC: (5=4+1); ACC: (15=5+10); B12: (5=2+3); B10: (16=4+12); CUSA: (2=0+2); INDEP: (6=1+5); MAC: (3=2+1); MWEST: (6=0+6); PAC12: (14=3+11); SEC: (23=11+12); SBELT: (0=0+0); OTHERs: (5=0+5)
Summary:
* Rams, 49ers, Vikings, Browns really did well (SF stashing Brandon Thomas for next year is why they are going to be around for a while at the top of the conference)
* 5 small school players taken (not from conferences)
Divisional Teams:
-Eagles: curious first round pick (too early?), but grabbed two WR on Day 2 - nice moves
-Giants: no idea what they are tryingto accomplish; they take Odell very early when they clearly had bigger needs, and then take a C that they could have gotten today (or at least in the 3rd round) and then followed that with Bromley who I saw going in the 6th/7th; very curious indeed
-Commanders: make the trade with us that got us Lawrence and after having no picks in round 1, came away with a DE that many thought they took early; many thought that they would take moses in early round 2, but found him in the promised land later round 2; they didn't do to bad
*Fredd's diet: Day1=Chinese food; Day 2=Taco Bell; Day 3 = Abe's hot dogs (local place -amazing pups)
Note: Fredd will be on a diet starting tomorrow
