Well, Fellow Dallas fans, that is yet another NFL Draft in the books.
Players come and go but the fans stay with their teams ( our Cowboys ) for decades.
Unlike the players, the fans stay loyal, not because of the money, but time vested through the years.

So what do you know now after yet, another draft?
*** Do not buy the Fools Gold.
All teams refuel their beliefs that their team is better than the season before. We know, if you are honest,
this is not the case, the majority of times.

Let look back at when CD Lamb was drafted. So many Dallas fans had visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads.
Could the Dallas Cowboys finally.....FINALLY get to a NFC Conference game. Screw the SB chants because
you have to get to the NFC Finals before that. And as we all know, the DALLAS COWBOYS have the looooooooooongest
drought getting to a NFC finals than any other team within the conference.
So taking Caleb Downs was a selection that put smiles on our faces, as Lamb, Ware, Witten, Elliott, Diggs, etc...,
the Cowboys are still no closer of breaking this 30 drought. Not predicting any W/L records for 2026, but I can say, without any hesitation, the Cowboys drought will continue for another season. Why? Because when you continually buy into the
FOOLS GOLD, you stop investing into the worthless stone. Enjoy watching the Cowboys as a movie, TV series, gambling money at a casino, etc.... It is just a form of entertainment to allow Cowboy fans to escape the grind. Players or Jerry doesn't pay any of our bills. Players #1 loyalty is to the paycheck. They would easily play for a NFC East rival next season if they got paid more. We, the fans, stay through the thick and thin, even during this Mojave Desert Drought

Now you can resume your SB thoughts again and order your #2 Downs jerseys. Help out Jerry's payroll. Because bottom line.....it is a business to them.

Some names I like and had seen some interest from Dallas:

QB - Nussmeier
WR - Caldwell
TE - Trigg
OT - Pounds
DT - Corleone
LB - Lawson, York, Williams, Murdock
Edge - Fano, Tucker
S - Wisniewski

Here’s what’s left from my original stack of 57 targets. There were others that I figured would be UFA and I didn’t list them.

Should have put Emmett’s kid on the UFA lis but I thought maybe they’d give him a Deuce courtesy draft

LBDeontae Lawson
LBXavian Sorey
RBEJ Smith
SBishop Fitzgerald

Edit: deleted Nuss since he went to the Chiefs a few minutes ago

This is from the visits list of what is left I think

Texas A&M LB Scooby Williams
Arkansas LB Xavian Sorey
Ole Miss DT Zxavian Harris
Alabama LB Deontae Lawson
UCF DE - Nyjalik Kelly

Oohhh, kelly was in my list and I forgot him.

I want all five of them!

Weird

You’re missing the 4th next year for Gary need to get to Jerry and try to control his impulse to deal any other 27 picks . It’s been called a richer draft environment then the Pittsburgh festivities .

We picked up Michael Trigg (TE/h-back) from Baylor. I thought he was definitely draftable.

It’s a highlight reel but shows you what he’s capable of.

6’-4” 240 lbs
34 1/4” arms
10.5” hands
84 3/8” wingspan
