Paxton Lynch is 6'7 245 lbs, not 6'5 230. Just fyi. He's huge.

Either way, he and Goff will both be long gone by the time we pick because we're not going to lose out. We'll win some (likely meaningless) games once Romo returns, and wind up picking in the 14-20 range.

Paxton Lynch

Bet he measure 6 -5 at the combine

who has he played ?

Not yet a polished passer. Thrives in Memphis' offense, which includes a lot of wide receiver screens and in-breaking routes, largely against inferior competition. Needs to work on his footwork, touch and continue to add weight to his build.

IN OUR VIEW: With continued development, Lynch could be this year's version of Blake Bortles if he declares for the draft - a prospect from the non-Power 5 conferences who checks a lot of boxes for NFL evaluators in an average quarterback class.

NFL evaluators viewed Lynch as an intriguing prospect, but weren't yet sold because most of his production and positive tape came against unimpressive competition

It's a late round pick, I get it, but you want no part of Joe Schmidt. He's being exposed this year at ND. Fans want him replaced. He's not athletic enough IMO to succeed in this league.

Bet you're right. He's probably closer to 6-5, 220, as skinny as he is. He's got long arms, which allow him to make every throw. Just don't know how that will slow his delivery. It was no easy feat beating Ole Miss. The kid has moxy. Time will tell. I'm still not closing the book on Cardale Jones just yet. We'll see how he plays down the stretch, but I think there's some underlying reasons why he's struggling this season. Kid has everything you want physically, & he destroyed three teams in the playoffs last season, two of them I would consider great.

This is not as outlandish as it sounds. I am convinced Escobar is a gadget player and not a future replacement for Witten.
