This team has a fantastic offense and a defense that answered a lot of questions as the game went on - not many teams have a running duo like we saw last night. Looking like 10-7 with wins against: Giants (2), Bears, Packers (H), Jets, Panthers, Washington (1), Cardinals (H), Raiders, Vikings (H), Chargers (H). Just got to stay healthy.

It's way too early to draw any conclusions until you see every team play 2 to 3 games.

Teams you think will be good may not live up to the hype and teams you expect will be easy wins will end up having good teams.

Probably 7-9 wins still.

They tend to be ready week one like against the Browns then the roller coaster of inconsistent play.

The defense lacks consistent pass rush and let Jalen run free which cost them dearly.

The run defense was better overall but still needs work.

Pass rush will probably do them in eventually.

The offense looked good but you must say the Eagles best defender was out of the game, that made a difference.

This is true but there's a lot of positive things you can take from the game I still don't agree with the 7 or less games for their total wins I said it before the game and I predicted this loss a close game I almost got the score right but we have players coming back so I wanted to take this a step further from your thought process we're getting better players back soon and they'll be able to look at film and Change some players out that we already have if they need to and get things fixed..

But it was obvious to me even before the season started that 60% of the poll on predicting the Cowboys record was off It's still 9 to 11 games like I said it was and in that case the projections should change when Vegas is looking at this game and they're still saying we're only going to win seven games or under that was a bad narrative from the start we have more info now At least we can go by what we saw last night playing against the best team in the league on the road in some weather....

In that case I think we passed the litmus test Yes it was a loss but there's a lot of good things you could take from it Like upping your expectations just a little bit....

If we stay reasonably healthy and Dak don’t get injured I see a least 9 wins. I think we beat Washington twin but some how lose to the Giants once

Sticking with my 9-8, injuries haven’t even started piling up yet and I think the depth is pretty bad. Hopefully, the major injuries stay away and Dallas can get to 10 wins and a possible wildcard.

Washington sucks.

Too early to apply the anointing oil as Parcells used to say.

Dallas has played well before and then laid an egg the next week. Each game is independent of the next. Offense and Dak can be inconsistent and the defense is average at best.. this game could and should have been won but killer mistakes made. The team has terrible depth so can’t sustain injuries.

Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Still a 7-10 team.

Things were moved around, some new bad things, some old bad things, some new good things, some old good things.

Did this change anything? No, J Carter being tossed was a gift and Dallas punted that gift out of the stadium
