I noticed a couple of things:

1. We ran a fake reverse twice in the red zone. I noticed on first viewing late in the game with TT running, but we did it with Crayton on the play where Witten missed his block and Barber lost yards.

2. It wasn't a bad read by Romo when he checked down to Barber with Fasano open up top on the sideline. Romo looked that way and just before he threw it McQ got bull rushed right into the throwing lane, so Tony went to his next progression. I don't think he could have gotten the throw to Fasano without dropping back farther and risking a sack.

Also, Aikman said Romo was concentrating on owens on the overthrow and missed Witten.

I don't think that was the case. The defender moved toward Owens at the last second making it appear that Witten was wide open. Romo did not have time anyway.

All in all, he is doing the smart thing with the football. I didn't mind at all when he took that sack on third down. Better that then force something into coverage.
