After reviewing this fiasco, can anyone tell me why Dak and Micah expect big paydays?

Dak wants to get paid without having to actually earn it. I would have no problem paying him if he had more playoff success, but he's a proven choker and playoff loser. Worst of all he's a me first type of person who doesn't give 2 spits about how an obnoxious contract will cause problems with the construction of the team. Jerry really needs to let him go in free agency next off season, but I have a bad feeling he will cave.

Parsons - he wants paid, plain and simple, and he is showing all the signs that he will become a ghost before the ink dries on his contract. The smart move would be to trade him for high picks, but Jerry approaches roster construction with his emotions rather than a business mindset.

The first half of this game should be watched every day by management, players, coaches and fans. It will tell you everything you need to know about this team.

1. Parsons was not double teamed. He was just plain ineffective. If anything he is targeted.
2. The defense pretty much sucked as it has for the last 20 years.
3. The two interceptions were the two biggest plays of the game. Dak sucked.

Thanks for the reminder. No that I needed it. Trade Dak, CD and Micah. Prob get like 4 1sts, couple of 3s and 4s for them. Rebuild the whole team! It's obvious the current roster, led by Dak, isn't taking you anywhere.

Go back and watch Martin our hall of famer who had to hold out for more money. First of all dude is playing guard. Give me a break. Second of all he basically looks like a serviceable journeyman. Anyone who defends him and his contract and his actions and his play is simply not being honest with themselves.

So trade a sure thing for an opportunity? The Walker trade makes a lot of people thinks it's easy.
A sure thing? Did you watch the game above? The only thing that I am sure of is that this guy is not getting any better once he signs his next contract. At least a trade gives us a chance.

Yes, Micah was double-teamed. Yes, he stood around for much of the game.
Dak, when not throwing picks, was losing yardage near the sidelines. Never learned to quick-release the ball.

The question in your title is easy to answer. Whether or not they get big paydays is not in question. They will get a big payday. The only question is from what team.

This playoff game was an endictment of these three players and this club..

Micah, big talked all week leading up to the game, didn't show up in the game and then after the game ran out of the training room and didn't take questions from reporters.

Lamb, became frustrated, not engaged in the game, pouting on the sidelines.

Dak, once again in big games shrinks with poor reads, decisions and INT throws..

And people want these three players setting the market in the league...mind boggling!

Dak: If you read my posts you know my stance. Yes Dak was runner up MVP, yes Dak is likely a top 12 QB...yes Dak goes down in the history books as an all time Cowboys stats leader...Yes, Dak has been gifted offensive weapons his entire career here in Dallas...Yes, Dak was in dire need of a HC who could have helped him solve his jitters in big games...Yes, Dak deserves a big contract based on all this...NO, Dak in no way deserves to be paid as the top QB in the NFL

Micah: Yes, he disappears in big games....Yes, is a DPOY candidate every year....Yes, he is a beast when on his game and not being double/triple teamed....Yes, Micah as well could have benefited from a DC who knows how to utilize his talents better....Yes, Micah deserves the contract he wants as the lineup to grab him will far out number the one that will lineup for our QB if he walks

The common denominator in my post is as much as I want to blame these two for their performances in big games, coaching has a much bigger role in their failures than we want to admit

Prescott had 0 passing yards in the 1st. Should have been picked THREE times.

Pathetic for a so called franchise quarterback.

Quinn coached an awful game. The defense couldn’t stop a college team.

God I miss the Cowboys teams I revered.
