So where we end up is a mystery as is where these guys will actually be ranked come late April of 2014. Going to believe that Jerry resigns Brian Waters but also signs Jon Asomugh OG KC in free agency. Makes for a very good line. I also think we see Jerry trade Doug Free RT and Demarco Murray getting a 2nd and 4th in return. McFadden is a free agent and doubtful he resigns in Oakland, heard he just bought a home in Dallas, do the math especially with Jerry.

1. Ra’Shede Hageman DT, Minnesota - probably a no brainer as DT may be our top need
2. Cedric Ogbuehi OT, Texas A&M - our new RT
2. Jackson Jeffcoat DE, Texas - he takes Spencer's place
3. Domonique Easley DE/DT, Florida - if not for the injury, he would go top 15
4. Anthony Steen OG, Alabama - give him a year and he takes Waters spot
4. Kony Ealy DE/OLB, Missouri - he could go earlier or later but a DE in the 4-3
5. A.J. McCarron QB, Alabama - call it crazy but sure won't surprise me
6. De’Anthony Thomas RB, Oregon - didn't work out this year with Dunbar, it will with Thomas
6. Deandre Coleman DE/DT, California - a guy we just might be lucky to hit on

Nobody will trade for Doug Free and it's doubtful that Murray would net a 4th. Murray only has 1 year remaining on his contract and he has been injured often.

Excellent pick if available. Size AND quickness.

2. Cedric Ogbuehi OT, Texas A&M - our new RT
I would need to be convinced that he will get bigger. He is listed at 300 lbs. The Cowboys need to add power on the OLine.

2. Jackson Jeffcoat DE, Texas - he takes Spencer's place
He seems decent, but I'm leery of Mack Brown players.

3. Domonique Easley DE/DT, Florida - if not for the injury, he would go top 15
I'm torn on this one. I like the concept of getting talented players later due to injury; however, the Cowboys might need to get away from this concept until they figure out their injury issues.

4. Anthony Steen OG, Alabama - give him a year and he takes Waters spot
Seems like a safe pick but not one with high upside.

4. Kony Ealy DE/OLB, Missouri - he could go earlier or later but a DE in the 4-3
I think he gets drafted earlier.

5. A.J. McCarron QB, Alabama - call it crazy but sure won't surprise me
Jerry can hire a guy from Greyhound as a Bus Driver, he does not need to draft one.

6. De’Anthony Thomas RB, Oregon - didn't work out this year with Dunbar, it will with Thomas
I think he gets drafted higher.

6. Deandre Coleman DE/DT, California - a guy we just might be lucky to hit on
Not really a Marinelli type player. He will likely be drafted higher by a 3-4 team or a 4-3 team that puts a premium on size/power over speed/quickness.

Like the analysis. Going to be a stranger than usual draft I believe due to the QBs and so many teams either needing a starter or quality backup. Normally I would say you don't draft a backup QB until the sixth or seventh round but this year shows that you think about it sooner. I would agree on Thomas going sooner but every year RB seem to get pushed down more and more. I agree Ealy could go earlier and should and not a fan of Mack Brown players either but went with Jeffcoat because betting Jerry forces that move, personally like the DE from Stanford better.

Going to be a interesting few days in April.

I like it when multiple QBs are projected to go before the Cowboys pick. It pushes everybody else down the board.

We all know that the Cowboys need DL, but I really think the BPA could end up being an OL at the Cowboys pick. Hageman is the only DL that really stands out to me for the Cowboys scheme that might make it to their pick; although, I think he will be off the board by then.
