Let's be honest we will most likely be 5-5 going in to the bye. Looking at the schedules for the other nfc east teams I just don't see them getting to 8. A lot of tough games for them left including the Packers, Lions, and Seahawks amongst division games for the Giants

The Eagles honestly look the worst right now and have to come to Dallas with games against the Packers, Lions, and Bears still left

The Commanders still have the Chargers, Chiefs, and 49ers amongst others

Now don't misquote me because I am not saying we win the super bowl but you never know once making playoffs. If we beat Vikings, Raiders, and Eagles that just leaves one game out of the others to win to get to 8-8 And most likely win this division.

A lot of football left to play.

That's like being proud when you're the only kindergartener that didn't **** his pants the first day of school.

If the Cowboys go 8-8 and go the playoffs due to the cruddy NFC East AND they lose the 1st playoff game -- will you view this season differently than the previous two when they went 8-8 and didn't make the playoffs?

Agree. One thing that will hurt is if Church & Claiborne with hammy injuries miss significant time. Say what you want they still are better at this point than Webb and Hamilton in the secondary.

At this point yes. At least we would have a shot

No. It won't mean we accomplished anything really. It'll just mean we sucked just a little bit less than the other three deadbeats in the East.

Yes, because of injuries and for the most part off the street D Line.

The Giants are turning it around. They are known for starting slow and finishing hard. This team is known for the opposite.

No. I honestly believe we have 6-2 or even 7-1 potential. But we have terrible management, from top to bottom.

This is Dallas' division to lose. I think the Commanders have the best chance to make a move, but even then it's very difficult to see them getting to 8-8.

Regardless, if we plan to do anything in the post-season, the team has to plan and play significantly better.

I won't.

I'm sure Romo will get the "Still can't win the big game" BS despite the fact we will have gotten into the playoffs only cuz we were the shiniest turd in the NFC lEast and we'd be facing a better team. Likely a much better team.

But hey, somehow a QB is supposed to win games by himself despite the fact the opposing team is better than his team.

The Giants are turning it around? Why would you say that? They beat a truly awful Vikings team and pretty much beat the Matt Barkley lead Iggles today. They scored 15 points today.

Maybe they are turning it around, but I don't think you can say that based off of what they've done the last two weeks.

So you're saying we go 8-8, win the division, and more than likely lose in the wild card round. Is that supposed to bring a smile to cowboy fans. Is that our definition of success now?

Did I hear something like they were shopping Hakeem Nicks on one of the pregame shows this morning? I was half paying attention.
