The Cowboys could possibly go guard, dtackle, or corner.
I could see Steve Avila and Bryan Bresse as possibilities.

He looks like a really good fit for the Cowboys. Looks like a plug and play left guard which would be an upgrade over McGovern and he can play all of the oline positions.
Position flex has been an obsession with the boys too much; I want a guy that is not a jack of all trades but a master of one

I'm not real big on the idea of trading down but if we could drop to the low 30's, grab Avila and add a 3rd rounder I wouldn't complain.

2. Avila (OG)
2. Zacch Pickens (DT)
3. Denzel Mims (WR)
3. Darius Rush (CB)
4. Charlie Jones (WR)
5. Israel Abanikanda (RB)
5. Zack Kuntz (TE)
5. Stephon Gilmore (CB)
6. Rashad Torrence (S)
7. Christopher Dunn (K)

Tyler Smith is working out just fine. Avila is better than McGovern and one of the top interior linemen in this draft. If Tyler B. gets hurt, you need somebody that can center the ball. Avila can do that.

I’m not letting a 1 year rental on Gilmore stop me from taking a CB at 26 if it’s a clear cut stud.

Avila is nice, but is a reach at 26. If I’m going to reach it’s going to be for a pass catcher as it’s still a gaping hole at a premium position.

I am not convinced he would be worth a first. Simply not good enough.

Fwiw Dexter was the only DT in any top 50 they interviewed at the combine. They only interviewed two, Byron Young being the other

I'd puke if it turned out that way.

If I were the Cowboys, I would draft Felix Anudike Uzomah, and he'd be my line backer, end type to add to the left or right of the rotation, or at LBer.

He's obviously a great DL, but if he were open to playing LB, too, that would be my player, most likely, honestly.

Either he or Gibbs. I think it's too hard to pass up a player like Gibbs. I actually think he could be better than Bijan. We shall see.

Heard a former player yesterday say that a guy with position flex makes no money compared to a guy you earmark for a single position. The old Jack of all trades and master of none just barely makes a roster every year.

it's gonna be a tight end or a guard or even or one of the first round graded running backs,or a corner if there any left

He can’t play either tackle position unless we run the ball up the middle every play. Come on man.
