we opened at home and we close the season at home, have a late bye, and a monday night game after thanksgiving which becomes somewhat of bye in itself. the schedule is pro cowboys this year.

Don't suppose it's any worse than being the away team on a Thursday.

OK, Detroit had an early home game today. I thought I remember people complaining about the Cowboys/Lions having an advantage because they play at home on Thanksgiving, but I suppose that went out the window with the advent of year-long Thursday Night Football (which Tony Dungy hates, BTW).

Yes.

I have been here 11 years and I am pretty sure we have played at home on the Sunday before thanksgiving every year.

Usually my favorite week of the year, two home games in four days.

I could swear that we usually had a home game right before Thanksgiving. After a quick check we've had 4 road games before Thanksgiving from 2000 on.
