Again we learned and it's confirmed Dak is worth two touchdowns

Vegas swung the line 5 points when they found out Dak would be out. They should have swung it more like 10..

Remember last year when Dak went down the offense went from scoring like 32 ppg to under 20 ppg? So Dak sits out this game and the offense goes from scoring 34 ppg to 20 ppg.. I think it's time all the "he's not a difference maker" talk gets shut down for good. I was really happy Rush had a good game.. but I cannot wait for Dak to get back so this offense can return to being completely unstoppable.

A win, be it by 20 points or 1 point, with or without Dak, is all that matters.

Rush played well, but I do not trust him to do it every week like I do Dak. I too, can't wait to get Dak back out there so we can be at full strength.

The main reason we can't trust Rush to do it every week is as I always say, every game you play adds another page in the book on you. The more Rush plays the more film teams will have on him and inevitably DCs will figure out ways to take away what he does well. His physical limitations place a cap on how much more he can add to his game as he goes forward so the more he plays the less defenses are going to allow him to do. But as a backup and spot starter he is absolutely ideal.

You're missing the point. Most games can't be won by scoring 20 points. This offense could only muster 13 points for almost the entire game against a terrible team. Most games require Dak's ability to run an offense that can score 40 points.

We won, that's what matters, and Rush certainly did his job as backup, but Sunday's offense wasn't a win in most other games.

100% endorse this take!

The "mighty" Chiefs just beat the Giants 20-17
with the highest paid player in NFL history at QB.

Nobody was calling Minnesota terrible before the game.
Thankfully, Cousins still sucks in prime time games.

...we we're lucky Rush was not picked 2 additional times. One the guy dropped, other hit the ground. Should Dak go down again, I'd still be worried.

I am.sure somebody will say they are a good team not a terrible team.....except if Dak played then they would say they were a horrible over rated team...

I'm on this site every day. I don't remember seeing anyone say Dak's
not a difference maker since the season began.

I've seen Comeback Player of the Year talk.
I've seen NFL MVP talk.
I've seen Super Bowl talk.
But no talk of Dak not being a difference maker, as claimed in the OP.

Very true. The catch by cooper should have been an interception and game over...mheada up play by cooper

He was terrible. The defense just kept us in the game and he eventually made plays.

Hopefully that’s the last time Cooper Rush ever plays for this team.

I went into the game optimistic about Rush but even though we won I came away disappointed with just how perfect everything needs to be for him.

He has almost no pocket awareness and a little bit of pressure is too much for him.

On the flip side, the more Rush plays the more experience he acquires, the better he gets, the more confidence he builds. I think that's why Cooper had such a better game in the 2nd half.

Yup, that's true. I've heard that talk in previous seasons but if the OP is talking about this season, he's just making crap up.

In other words, he played like a typical backup NFL qb. He did enough. Enjoy it.

What's the difference in wins I wonder.
