Miami won the turnover battle (2-1), total yards (353-303), penalties 6-55 vs 11-69) and time of possession (31:28 vs 28:32) and still lost.

I know some on here are saying we must not be that good if we didn't blow out a team like Miami, however, I would argue that winning despite being on the lossing side of all of those stats demonstrates that this team is good enough to overcome bad play. This is something that will help build the character and confidence of this team.

Either that, or Miami is just really bad :

I remember when it seemed like we always dominated the TOP and total yardage stats and still lose.

Miami surprised me. They are pretty good, their defense is awesome.

DIdn't Phil Simms say during the broadcast that the Miami HC said this was their mini-Super Bowl?

They gave us their best today, we took it, and gave them one better.
