I've been going to A&M games since the mid-90s and the only person associated with A&M I've ever heard our fans boo was Dennis Franchione.
I've been going to a&m games off and on since the mid '70s. Even sat in private boxes. You can't hear anything in those though.

You're right, it was. A&M has won the last three by a combined score of 142 to 87.
I wasn't comparing my IQ to yours slant, but thanks for bringing it up .:D

has a little to do with the "we're the best fans in the world", "we never leave early", "we never boo our own". I've personally seen them leave early in droves and boo their own.
I've seen and heard them yell obscenities at a hysterical prankster at the Baylor/ A&M game in 2004, which was played days before the presidential election, some guy dressed up in a John Kerry mask and wore a maroon jumpsuit which he would take off when Baylor had the ball to reveal Baylor a outfit shouting "John Kerry for Baylor", then he he;d flip flop back to maroon when A&M had the ball yelling "John Kerry for A&M":lmao2:

The Aggies didn't think that was very funny, I thought it was hysterical...their mood got worse when unranked Baylor knocked them out of the rankings by beating them when they were #16 and 35 point favorites.

I'll never forget the weeping Corp members i witnessed...and the john Kerry impersonator that annoyed them so for wearing maroon.

Believe it or not, we can take a joke. Most thought the Texas fan in a sheep suit with a sign that said "Baa means no" at a basketball game several years back was hilarious. The sheep stuff and other varius things doesnt bother anybody.

What gets under our skin is when people starting throwing out things like "fake army", "cult", etc. that disrespects and undermines a group of people that has produced nine medal of honor recipients and thousands of service members

A&M won't, it was rather lopsided in recent memory.

We've won three straight, so recent memory is positive for the Aggies. Tech is one of four teams we do not have a winning record against in the Big 12 and I think that is something most Aggies would have liked to rectify. We are finishing the series with a positive record and three wins, so that will have to be good enough.

Baylor series finale is next, that should be a great game. I'm more afraid of Griffin than I was last year. I hope Sherman does not wear out his own defense this week.

Hopefully Deruyter hasnt forgotten how he shut down Baylor in the second half last year, press their receivers and hit Griffin. For all his talent, he still folds after a few good shots because he's not a very big guy. The game was all but over after Von Miller crushed him and caused him to fumble in the third quarter, Griffin was never the same after that. For all our pass defense faults, we're pretty good at stopping the run so I'm hopeful they won't have the playaction game they've used so successfully this year. They'll score 30+ but I think we'll outscore them like we did Tech, there won't be many punts in this game but our redzone defense was solid and held Tech to four field goal attempts so hopefully that translates to next week.

Red zone defense was important last week just as it was against Oklahoma last year. Keep them out of the endzone and we will be okay.

i had tech +9.5 so needless to say, that was an awesome meaningless TD at the end by tech!:D

it was weird cheering for the TD and them NOT to recover the onside kick (possible pick 6 would have screwed me)

Dunno, should be a shoot out, neither defense is impressive.

Texas Tech University Issues Statement on Alleged “Classy” Act

By: Allen Corbin | 2 hours ago

Texas Tech this evening issued a statement on the alleged vandalism of the Texas A&M team buses from this weekend. Texas Tech’s assertion of events is far different from the social media update published last Saturday from Texas A&M Athletic Director Bill Byrne.

From Texas Tech University:
Many of you are aware of a tweet from a Texas A&M official that their team buses were spray painted and animal feces were spread inside of the buses early Saturday morning. The clear implication of the tweet was that this was the responsibility of Texas Tech fans or students. Texas Tech has conducted an investigation regarding this allegation, and has discovered the following:
  • The buses were not spray painted. Instead, washable shoe polish was used on the windows of one of the buses.
  • No feces were found either in or on the buses. Fish bait was dropped onto the floor of one of the buses.
  • The alleged “vandalism” was cleaned by the bus drivers and Holiday Inn staff before it was seen by the A&M official who tweeted the information.
While incidents such as the ones alleged are inappropriate and strongly condemned by Texas Tech, it is no less wrong to condemn the entirety of our university, students and supporters by posting inaccurate information on the internet for the purpose of sensationalizing the actions of one or a very few. We are disturbed by the careless use of social media to share these inaccuracies.

Only Texas Tech would implement a "but" into their apology for something like that. It's indicative of the inherent problem within that fanbase, the alumni and school put up with it.
