agreement has been reached

Take the advice, however it may have been worded.

Adam has earned his status as cap guru by being a continuous source of facts.

Nobody knows the cap like he does - nobody.

To challenge his knowledge in this area is to ask for a cerebral breakdown.

The reason its funny to me is because i was asking him questions about what we his idea of what we are going to do is.

Didn't say he's stupid or doubt he's knowledgable on the subject of capology.

Just asked some questions and presented a different viewpoint.

Yet some here think everything is a fight where one is trying to "own" the other, and some even get their jollies from making things bigger than they are and then declaring someone "owned" when they weren't even a part of the discussion at all.

His facts seem correct, however i am challanging that i don't believe all of these moves will be made in one offseason. Restructuring several contracts, trying to cut and resign several players, cutting 4 or 5 other players outright, etc.. I just don't see all of it playing out that way. That's all.

No problem.

Sorry if it appeared I was insulting you as that was not intended.

I just trust Adam's info when it comes to the salary cap.

But I don't think he said the team would make all of those moves but merely that they could.

I think the intent is to allay any fears that 'the sky is falling' or that the Cowboys are in a dire cap situation which is not the case.

Personally, I'm excited to see what the Cowboys do.

I think if they get some of these bad contracts (Colombo, Barber, Roy Williams, Leonard Davis, possibly Newman) off the books they can accomplish a lot.

Well yes, im sure they could make all these moves, pending player agreement, however all i've been saying from the beginning is that i don't see all of it happening. Its not like we are going to just press a button and be under the cap with no consequences.

I don't think we're in a dire situation.. but i don't think we're in a comfortable situation either. That's all i was pointing out.

Interested to see what transpires as well. Certainly Stephen is working on it.
