On 1st & Ten, Lomas was doing real well in his segment talking about past Thanksgiving Game memories. He did mention the 1994 (Garrett) and 1974 (Longley) games, as well as many of the bizzare games like the blown coin toss.

However, when he mentioned the Leon Lett blunder against Miami in the ice and snow, he referred it to the 1997 Cowboys.

Uh, Lomas, it was 1993.

1997 had Dallas losing to Tennessee with a horrendous game by Aikman.

I came in this thread expecting to see objection to Lomas comparing Garrett to a leftover mayonnaise packet (he really did).

I had the TV muted at the time and did not know what he was talking about. So that explains the segway to Garrett. Okay!

So Lomas Brown is even more of a dirtbag than what I give him credit for.

You Lie!

Everyone knows Troy Aikman never played a bad game in his life, because he was a "leader." You're clearly a Romosexual who is trying to denigrate Aikman so he seems like he's no different than Romo -- like they're of equal talent.

Yeah, that 1997 Thanksgiving game was frustrating. Just as we would pull within a touchdown from tying the game, the Oilers would put another score on the board and then pull away. I HATE it when the Cowboys lose, but it's especially disappointing when they lose on Thanksgiving.

I caught that too. The least he could do is memorize a few facts before he spouts off, lol.

I remember Troy's back stiffening up in warmups of that game...him taking a shot in the locker room and coming out. Yep, it wasn't his best game, but I wouldn't say it was horrendous.

I don't really think he's a dirtbag, not in the same mold as say Marshall Faulk. I just think he's an idiot.
