Yah, that was hilarious.

Gotta love it all right..like Mike's not a homer!!:lmao2:

that was pretty funny.... BUT, Irvin is a homer too....:laugh2:

It just sounds better calling him a homer than tthe other way around

Is Irvin a homer? Maybe this season, but the last few his compliments for the Cowboys have been few and far between.

He is to a point. He isn't b;tent as the others. Irvin will be critical of the Cowboys at times. As where Jaws and all the others will not be critical to their teams.

Because his boy TO has become indefensible.

I know what you mean. TO is tearing this team apart. I can't believe we signed him. If only he would shut his mouth and start scoring TDs!!!

I thought this was about Irvin being silenced by TO's extracurricular conversation?

For the past few weeks, TO has run his mouth to the press, only fueling the media's desire to talk about him, his attitude and his inability to keep his trap shut and focus simply on football.

If you've watched NFL GameDay (or whatever it's called) Irvin has been reluctant to "defend" TO because Tom Jackson was right when he said, "With TO it's always something."

Initially, Irvin defended TO saying with his contract demands satisfied he would be "model" citizen. And then after TO's training camp Tour De Injury, his comments about Bill Parcells having enough film on him, his accidental OD, his comments about Haley, etc., Irvin has become more and more reluctant to be an outright homer about TO.

Good.

The strange thing is that the things you listed actually lead you to believe that he is indefensible. T.O. has been as close to a model citizen here as you could hope for. Eventually you may have something to complain about but nothing so far warrants a peep out of the naysayers.

A model citizen complains about his offensive coach to the media?
He accidentally ODs?
He tells his coach in a smart-alecky way that he has 10 years of film if he wants to see how well he plays?

Otay, said Buckwheat.

Why do you keep bringing up the OD thing? How is that at all relevant to the discussion? He complained about his WR coach because the guy acted like a jerk. The jerk was at fault and has since apologized -- and according to some sources was disciplined. On NOES!!! T.O. is a smart alleck!!! Fire him right now!!!!
