Yeah, at first I thought he'd be too small. But he looks like one of the top centerfielders in the safety class. Dynamic lil' guy.

I think he'll be fine at his size, especially if the team that drafts him (cough...........DALLAS............cough) uses him as a FS because of his instincts and dynamic range. He's everything you want at FS - a guy with CB-type coverage skills that can actually tackle. Remember, Bob Sanders is only 5'8" and, had he just been used as a FS, he probably would have less wear-and-tear on him.

The Bob Sanders comparisons are really off-base. Sanders is around 210 and built like a fire-plug. Not taking away anything from Black, but he's got a small frame and he's built like a nickel-corner.

In fact, come combine I bet Black weighs in somewhere in the mid-180s.
