Ahmad Brooks What Round?

i think the 9ers use a 2nd pick on him, which would suck for them due to that could be easily a top 10 pick,

O.T.
when the NFL gives up that pick, does it take the spot in the second round, for example if its the 9ers do and they pick 7th though out the draft would that pick be a second round 7th over all or no?

Someone will drink the kool aid early. Personally, given all his problems I wouldn't take him til the 5th. But there will be someone desperate or arrogant who will pick him before that.

You should have had an option for not at all. Let all have a voice.

:wink2:

There's a very good chance this guy drops late into 6th or 7th rounds. There are red flags everywhere with this guy.

Not sure of your ?, it makes no sense..seems too confusing. You been drinking ;)

If this guy would end up being a top 10, and the 49ers use a 2nd round. Then it's a great deal for the 49ers. Because if they have the 7th overall pick in next years draft. Then they still pick 7th in the first, but lose their 7th in the 2nd because of picking Brooks. You only lose what round you bid on if you get that player.

Is that what you are asking, it didn't seem so. But that is the rule.

Your question is a bit incoherent but if I understand it correctly then, No. The position that a team drafts in the supplemental draft does not effect what position they will draft in during the next regular draft. The only affect that it will have on the regular draft will be to cost a team their spot in whatever round they might chose to use in the Sup. Draft. For instance if the Niners use their 1st round pick on Brooks then they will have no first round pick come April and everyone with a pick lower than what they would have had will simply move up one spot.

Hope that was what you were asking

ok guys thanks for A) decoding my question and B) answering it in a way i under stood :p:
