Missed the game. Would love for someone to drop a highlight of him vs the chargers

If I had the game on video I could do it but I didn't capture it to my computer. I'll ask a friend if he's got the game captured.

I didn't see this thread until just now. If no one posts the highlight, I will do so late this afternoon/early evening when I get home.

Dixon's performance is being way overblown. He made a bunch of tackles because a bunch of tackles were there to be made. The front seven was awful.

He didn't cover particularly well, didn't bat balls down or intercept anything. Anyone that saw him at Baylor knows how slow he is and poor in coverage. He's just a big hitter.

He's very similar to what Roy OU Williams was at the end of his time here.

I'm thinking that as the secondary gets healthy starters back on the field, the younger players will start to come around as well. Teamwork does wonders for a group of players. And this secondary has some real talent.

Not only that, they're all young. They'll grow together and friends and teammates and the bond they'll have will extend from off the field to on the field. Very important for their chemistry.

Golly erod, be patient. I'm typing up a thread about that now.

You could say that for every tackle, ever. The point is, he made them. You can't knock Dixon for making tackles just because the LBs didn't lol. I don't think anyone will disagree that you don't want a safety leading the team in tackles, but it's not fair to discredit the impact he had.

As far as coverage, I don't think anybody is expecting him to be a whole lot more than a thumper, especially at this point. He's not going to be a ball hawk. But as for being slow...he ran a faster 40 than Kam Chancellor and the same as Ed Reed. They physical tools are pretty much there.

Let's see how long this takes me. Starting at 11:36, opening video. Done 11:47. Encoding 11:48-11:57. Upload: 11:58-12:39. Still processing (93%).

Here are all of his plays on defense. He basically played the entire game, but didn't get the honor of being considered the starter.

I was a lil drunk watching the game live and wasn't too worried about the team because my expectations are low, however the offense will have to put up 30+ per game. This defense is no better than the high school squad. I better stock up on beer this year it's going to be a ruff season.
