That’s great Vanilla Ice posted that himself. lol
I went down a rabbit hole of similar ones, and then somehow ended up watching rap-turned-nu-metal videos at work one day out of pure curiosity. I’m really torn on how to feel about these AI songs. On one hand, it feels wrong….but on the other, if I’m being completely honest, some of them are actually really good. lol
Yeah, I definitely get both sides of it. Either way, as you mentioned, it's here and it's here to stay. We are just entering uncharted territories with it. It’s fascinating how it sparks both excitement and concern, depending on who you ask.I like that version too
I get that artists are upset about AI and to be honest, I don't blame them. That said, artists provide two things that AI does not .. feeling and uniqueness.
No matter what people think, AI-generated music, videos, television, movies, etc. are all coming to mainstream entertainment.
The line between non-AI and AI was already blurred years ago with voice normalizers (ex: autotune) and audio backing tracks. It will be no different with AI.
For example, graphics artists upset over AI generated art are going to be all too happy and willing to use the latest graphics software that fixes, improves and expands their capabilities using AI-powered versions of applications.
Software developers upset over AI generating programs without them are already using AI code generators themselves to speed up and develop projects they never would have considered or were incapable of doing by themselves in the past without AI.
Eventually AI will be so integrated into all forms of art and creativity that the line will be so blurry to not be visible to even the artists themselves as they will shift past the outrage and on to new methods of revenue.
For me personally, I am really enjoying these AI songs, especially the ones created by modernizing and genre-changing popular songs from the past.
I've listened to that song too many times to count.I really like that one. Sorry Coolio, this version is better.
Ai can do any genre. Thats why I stick to 60's and 70's. The music from those decades is just superior.Country music seems like one of the easier genres for AI to make decent songs.
