I dont think I have ever complained about Aikman and his new career. I think he is really good at it. Very objective.

BUT... after Eli threw that INT to Assante.... Aikman says "well those things(INT's) happen in the playoffs when you are trying to make something happen"

Uh, WHAT???

Did he say that because he said only a few days ago that he would take Eli??

Come on Troy. Objectivity went out the door on that one.

I'm sure his discussion about Eli/Romo was the first thing on his mind at that moment. Come on man.

Actually, I believe he was calling our 44-6 dud game against the Eagles. I do remember an announcer saying that Romo's fumble was because he was "trying to make something happen."

What's so wrong with that statement?

When a quarterback tries to make something happen, a turnover often results.

How is that bias?

Thats where probably 90% of Tony's turnovers come from...its a fine line.

I didn't even watch that game. I don't know how you guys did it. I had to ask who won.

I agree with Aikman. When you are losing in the playoffs and start to press turnovers happen. Ask Delhomme.

I'm just saying that Aikman's not reserving this line for Eli because he lurves him. He says it about Romo and others I'm sure.

Pretty sure one game wouldn't change Troy's mind.

The Superbowl was why he put Eli above Romo.

He even admitted it. So yes one game can change his mind.

Neither QB did anything much to help their teams win today...low completion percentages, ints.

Defenses make the difference in the playoffs.

I doubt that Troy would be that fickle. Today notwithstanding, Eli still has a huge lead in career playoff victories. Troy was never a stat ***** when he played, so he's not likely to be impressed with Romo's regular season numbers. The ring is the thing.
