I'm not sure if anyone esle heard it, but Aikman, Emmitt, and Michael were on the Ticket yesterday with I believe Norm.

When asked about the TO signing, he brought up the point that Michael got the ball almost every time he was single covered. Saying it wasn't all that much that he was single covered, but when he was, it was a no brainer that he had to throw it to him. You just had to do it.

Anyway, while doing his duties for Fox preparing for gamesand watching film, he said he always noticed that when TO was with the 49'ers, and he was singled covered, Garcia hardly ever took advantage of it. Not that he never threw to him, just he didn't take his shots when he had them. But when Aikman asked Garcia about it, Garcia said something like he wasn't really sure where TO would be or was always doing.

He said that happened a lot in Philly also. Aikman said he wasn't really taking up for TO, but couldn't understand why they wouldn't ALWAYS take advantage of a single covered TO. As he said, "For the life of me, I just understand why you don't throw it to your best receiver when he's single covered"..."I just don't get it".

Maybe its the scheme. But that does not matter to Terrell. He should not be made to play in a scheme, you structure the O around him, Right? Might as well since we can give him all the money in the world, yet we cant give any more money to Key or Glenn, pple who have actually done something for us????

I agree Ashwyn about giving more money to Key and Glenn but I think they are working on Glenn's contract right now.

Maybe he's NOT a team player that can be counted on to be on the same page as the rest of the team.

No one has ever questioned TO's work ethic on and off the field. His problems lie in his emotions and mouth.

I think it because the WCO is freaky that way and because both teams have liked to script the first 10 plays.

Aikman could call a play in the huddle then change the play without saying a single word and go to Irvin. Hopefully Bledsoe and TO get on the same page.

So basically what Aikman is saying in a roundabout way is that Owens is actually 2x better then any of his past QBs have allowed him to be (a rip on ex-49er qb and a rip on the current Philly-God), and with him as TO's QB the sky would have been the limit... I guess we shall see if Bledsoe is paying any attention.

Now for the next shoe that must drop.. The Terry Glenn/Brett Farve Shoe. In Philly, TO said, with Farve as HIS qb that the eagles would be undefeated. In Dallas, Terry said, with TO by his side he should have the best most insane year he's ever had as a wr stat wise. Well Terry already played for Brett and it made him absolutely no better though TO thinks there is no question about how much better a QB like farve would make a WR, hmm. Now Terry thinks TO will make him such a bigger threat then he already was, even though Brett Farve, possibly a top3 ever Qb, couldn't.

I'm going to go with Aikman and TO on this one. Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes a smart quarterback (ie. like Aikman or FARVE) most definatly can make a wide reciever automatically that much better. Unfortunately though, Terry, in this area you seem to fail as most 2nd string WR do, and as you proved when you played in Green Bay with one of the most elite. By the way, Terry, I don't believe for one second that TO can do anything more for your career then what Brett Farve failed to do, and deep down neither do you. You weren't worth the money and this season you shall prove it.

Of course Silver looks good next to copper. The problem comes when some platinum falls into the bin, that silver reveals it's worthlessness quickly and easily by comparison. Get ready to wish we had kept Key over this worthless bum.

It was the cosmic link they both shared. Do you recall the stories of Aikman being able to complete passes to Irving with his eyes closed. In their prime no other passing combo could complete the out or the slant better.

It was the offense and the timing patterns that Mr. Norval Turner liked using in the Air Coryall Offense
