You need a quick gap DT, rangy good to better Mike and a big time safety. That's what I see simply but you need more than that and the offenses know how to attack the Tampa 2. Don't know for sure what we will see and it will be complex enough I won't understand a lot of it anyway. Doesn't hurt for all the LBs to be fast and able to get to the ball.

I'm not too worried about our DTs, honestly. Lynch knows better than I do, but I think we'll have enough pressure on the QB, and I don't think we're going to get run on up the middle. We've got good personnel for this defense.

They had Tommy Harris who went to the Pro Bowl in 2005, 2006, and 2007. He was a key lynchpin of the Bears team that went to the Superbowl.

295 lbs and ran a 4.68 fourty coming out of college.

More recently they've had Henry Melton who has 6 sacks in 2012 and 7 sacks the year before.

I agree with Lynch in that it may take time to really execute the Tampa 2. I'm sure they are just seeing what they can do with the current personnel and only scratching the surface of the capabilities of this scheme. However, I disagree with needing "someone in the middle" to wreck things. We don't necessarily need that. We need sure tacklers and I think we have that.
