Drafting another Oline in the first is never a bad idea.
You guys really weren't aware he'd had back issues?
Of course, but when you put it the way Troy did, it made it sound like he wasn't long for this league and that the health issues may be compromising his play.
Why... because he used the word "chronic"?
Yes. How much longer is a guy with chronic back problems going to play? Especially one whose performance is declining because of it.
All chronic means is that it's an ongoing issue, which you already knew. It's not a measure of severity.
Zach Miller's leg is not a chronic injury, but considering he almost had to have it amputated, I'd take Tyron's chronic back issue over that any day of the week.
Actually, no I didn't know it was "chronic." Is it degenerative? In any event, it doesn't sound like its going away.
Whether it's degenerative is a better question, and not something Troy would have insight into.
You knew it was chronic whether you would have used the term or not. Tyron rests every week because of his back, going back a couple of years now.
I think the FOR YEARS part of the comment is the thing...implies even prior to it becoming a well publicized talking point...i.e., earlier than a couple of years ago...You guys really weren't aware he'd had back issues?
We need to draft a tackle next year early for sure. Collins can't handle long-armed pass rushers, and Tyron's back is becoming a worry.
I'll compare it to you cutting your finger off.How about some compassion for someone who just realized our starting all world RT has back issues that won't go away? Maybe I should have been paying more attention, but it didn't sink in until Troy said it the way he did. I get it, you're not worried. Great for you! I am crying in my cereal over here!
