I Have considered Aikman overly critical in the past. Today, I thought he was even handed.

If every announcer wore Cowboys gear to the games and cried on TV if the Cowboys lost you guys would still be crying about some imagined bias.

I am not claiming bias. McNabb made the plays when he needed to, Bledsowe did not. But Aikman, to me just sounded way too over praising to McNabb. Like if he didn't say anything good, or not enough. Then he would seem to come off as a Cowboys homer. And he doesn't want that now does he.

Aikman was even handed. He couldn't make a silk purse from a sow's ear. for the most part Dallas didn't do the things necessary to get applause and the Eagles did. But Buck is another story.

I was disappointed with his media driven company line policy today.

I like how Troy announces. I think he's a little close to the vest, Captain Obvious if you will, but very solid nonetheless. Most people who have issue with Troy do so because of how their team is performing on the field IMO. He pretty much states it how it is.

I think he was better than ever today. We didn't give him any reason to praise us except in the running game. If he sees good play he will priaise it and vice versa. He was spot on today however.

I consider Aikman the most objective anouncer on TV. He called McNabb out several times today, whether it was for throwing the ball too hard or for not being as accurate as he should. Lord knows Aikman has called out McNabb in the past. But he also gives credit to McNabb when he does something right. I like it. Hey, he even managed to give Bledsoe a compliment today when he converted the 4th and 4.

McNabb looked shaky in the first half but was tremendous in the second. Despite having a beat-up Westbrook and a no-name receiving crew, this guy stepped up and delivered the victory in a critical game.

He, and Philly, deserved the "gushing."

Yes sir. In fact if the truth be known, I thought he could have been alot more critical of Bledsoe than he was.
