This whole mess is getting crazier by the minute. Nothing says Big East like Colorado and Idaho.

I think Boise might do it, just to get the AQ status and the money that comes with being in an AQ league, so they can complete the stadium expansion and other upgrades a little quicker to make them a little more attractive to the PAC-12 or Big 12.

Air Force AD's comments about being invited to the BIG XII and why he turned them down were very interesting.

It is good to see the AFA refuse the Big 12 for the right reasons. I doubt they have to answer to rich boosters so they can make the right choice without fear of reprieve. I love the service academies but they cannot compete with the powerhouses of any major conference except the Big East. I would love to see the three of them in one conference and hopefully in the same division so they can play for the CIC Trophy.

Not to mention it will be a lot easier conference schedule if they move to the Big East. :D

the big EAST with schools in colorado and idaho? ***? this is so dumb! i think the Big 12 needs to add boise as a football only member and have Notre Dame in for the rest of the sports

i know it would never happen, but i kinda wish that Missouri or West Virginia would join the SEC, the other to the big 12. then the big 12 add Cincinnati and Louisville. Rutgers and UConn to the ACC, the remaining big east football teams, conference USA, and the MWC would form 2 geographically correct conferences, then have the winners of each of these conferences play each other to determine automatic BCS bid

I wouldn't. I think the Big East is toast.

As a football conference it is a goner. Too bad the Commish is a basketball guy and kept screwing over the football aspect of the league.

I don't know if some of those other teams coming in would allow the big east to keep it's AQC for BCS.

I am pretty sure WVU is a goner and probably Louisville as well. Also talk of Uconn and Rutgers heading out.
