Injuries make it hard to repeat in the NFL. You've got to have luck on your side. So far, neither us nor the 49ers have had it. Started with Bland (and Williams) being out for us. 49ers may have been a little better built to deal with depth issues, but still there's only so much you can handle. Kind of like us at end, losing Williams, then Lawrence and Parsons, then Kneeland. There's a lot teams can plan for better than our front office did, but no team can plan for that.

The DeShaun Watson injury looked worse. You could see his Achilles tendon break loose. Weird non-contact injury. Reminded me of when Kevin Smith hurt his Achilles.

Those popped Achilles always gross me out. You can see all the tension the tendon is under release and reverberate in the leg.
