AJ Brown says the Eagles need to worry about the Cowboys trading for George Pickens

Baun was not horrible. He was primarily a special teams player in New Orleans. Rarely started at linebacker for the Saints. Philly’s special teams were an issue in 2023 and they were looking for help. I’m guessing they were more surprised than anyone over what the guy could do. He’s more a miracle than something teams should expect to happen.

No surprise the Saints turned over their coaching staff. The had him 4 years and never identified his potential. He was a solid special teamer, though.
Baun also changed positions in Philadelphia. He was a pass rushing OLB in New Orleans, like Micah. Fangio moved him to MLB because he thought he fit better there

thing is dallas has owned philly for the most part with Dak, its losing game to teams they should be beat needs to change.

Some of you with the whole overly focused on where guys are drafted or if they're undrafted or how might say we're paid as free agents is just insane it's out of control....

We've seen guys the likes of Tom Brady brought Purdy Terrell Davis Tony Romo Kurt Warner Deron Bland let's stay in the now who was picked in the 5th round these everybody is good as the Eagles corners...

Just because they were picked high isn't going to make them have a steady ascending career it doesn't mean they're not beatable.. I don't know what your point is but that doesn't mean Elam either is a bad pickup we could turn his career around he could be a pro bowler just like Zach Bond I mean you still don't want to hear some of these comps but how about we stick to this then ,

You remember we practically gave away Jimmy Smith what happened to his career yeah that's what I thought guys like that it happens a lot and I'll use something more current I mean we gave away Chadarius ward to Kansas City for peanuts he turned out to be a pro bowler... how do you know they gave up on Elam too soon nobody knows that but guys like Butler look pretty good free agents coming from the UFLI mean you keep overly focused on where the Cowboys have picked these players up but when other teams do it you seem to gloss over it...

That will be the fun part of this year is to watch training camp and preseason with a whole lot of? marks, new Players coming in, we get to see with the draft picks and the free agents do or don't do that's the fun part of waiting this entire arduously long offseason for football for a very short season so I prefer to take a look at it with my own eyes before I make a judgment....
It's not a question of where they are drafted. It's a question of accomplishments and fair expectations. Elam was drafted in the first and failed in Buffalo. It's not fair to expect him to come here and turn it around. Carson was not only drafted late, but he also did not play well when forced into action.

I prefer to go by what I see instead of what I hope. All we can use at this time is the evidence at hand. Right now, that shows that the only quality corner we have who is healthy is Bland. That could change, but right now I would not fear Dallas' corners.
