Took him 40 questions to get Ken Starr... he guessed Neil Armstrong and Alan Greenspan first. If you give him enough questions, he can probably guess anyone.

Well, it's probably good to actually use famous characters that more than a couple dozen people have heard of.

It guessed right several non-main characters, it has a very high threshold. I made mistakes in describing a couple and had to re-do it and it got them right. I would think any well-known character guessed wrong was human error.

Kate Bush: Ak. got her right on #20

Toyah Willcox: Ak. guessed wrong at 21 with Petula Clark. Got Toyah (to my utter amazement) correct at #30

Kitaro: Ak. guess wrong at 20 with Yo-Yo Ma. Got Kitaro (again to my astonishment) at #30
